If you suffer from plantar fascitis or heel pain, you've found a friend in these ultra-supportive foot supports. The soft cover and the flexible EVA base material create an excellent arch support which immediately treats the cause of the heel pain.
These are the orthotics we give to our patients in clinic who are suffering from heel pain. With plantar fascitis, the elastic plantar fascia is strained due to improver flexion. This strong structure is designed to spring with the bounce of each step, but can be damaged due to a variety of reasons.
Dr Foot Pro insoles are designed to fit into normal shoes, lateral cutaway provides an easy fit for almost any type of shoe. The wearer will adjust quickly and find the device comfortable to wear. This insole provides the functionality and stability of the full length insole but can be placed into all types footwear for men and women.
They help reduce stress at key weight points, keep each foot properly aligned and cradle and stabilize your heels. A strategically placed heel insert made of poron foam absorbs the pounding foot shock of each step.
Option 1 lifts the plantar fascia from the medial tubercle of heel (this is the spot that is usually most painful). If you run your finger down the arch of your foot towards your heel there will be a spot on the inside of the heel/arch which will be considerably more painful than the rest of the heel, this area needs to be off loaded which is why we recommend option 1. Option 9 takes the strain off the fascia by using the forefoot to reduce tension of the fascia.
It is important that the orthotics are not used in isolation, you need to do stretches too, view heel pain stretches here. Print these out and do them everyday along with wearing the orthotics and you will get relief from your heel pain.
Dr Foot Pro 3/4 length insoles provide the support you need to insure prevention and treatment of sports injuries and foot pain such as bunions, ball of the foot pain, flat feet, neuroma, over pronation, heel pain and many other conditions.
